The Lohengrin opera by Richard Wagner is depicted in richly detailed and colorful scenes. The lower section of the stein features portraits of Wagner, King Ludwig II, and a miniature depiction of Neuschwanstein Castle. The turned pewter, domed lid has fine-relief decorative banding.
