2 liter. 17 1/2" tall. Imperial German Eagle Stein. This stein features an Imperial German Eagle at the center front, on a white background, in richly-detailed style. It is framed in heavy-relief gold scrolling. The Imperial German Eagle originates from an emblem believed to have been used by Charlemagne, the first Frankish ruler crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope in 800 A.D., and was derived from the Eagle Standard of the Roman army.
