3/4 ltr. 11" tall.  Deutschland Beer Stein.  This hand-painted, heavy relief, and richly detailed stein features the architecture of some major cities of Germany. They include Rothenburg, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, and Cologne. The face of the stein depicts large and small versions of the German Imperial Eagle. The Imperial German Eagle originates from an emblem believed to have been used by Charlemagne, the first Frankish ruler crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope in 800 A.D., and was derived from the Eagle Standard of the Roman army. A band of the Coats of Arms of the German States surrounds the body of the stein. The domed pewter lid has decorative embossed banding. This is a very traditional stein of bone rustical style and would make a striking centerpiece for a collection, or an excellent starting piece.

Hand-crafted in Germany by Zoeller & Born.

Limited Edition and Numbered.

Perfect unique gift for collectors, historians, beer drinkers, or decorative art lovers.
