3/4 liter 10 inch in height Imperial German Eagle Cobalt Stein. This stein features the Imperial Eagle in rustical, detailed relief on a cobalt background at the center front. The Eagle is framed by banner flags which adorn the sides and vining Hops which surround the handle. The Imperial German Eagle originates from an emblem believed to have been used by Charlemagne, the first Frankish ruler crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope in 800 A.D., and was derived from the Eagle Standard of the Roman army. The pewter mountings and thumblift support a domed pewter lid with decorative intricate-relief banding.

Perfect unique gift for collectors, historians, beer drinkers, or that 'hard to buy for' friend or loved one.

Excellent centerpiece addition to your home bar or liquor cabinet.

Ready for travel with you to your favorite tavern.
