1/2 Liter. 10 1/2" tall. Imperial German Eagle Beer Stein. This rustical relief stein is very finely detailed and colorful. The Imperial German Eagle is displayed on the center front, beneath crossed German flags. It originates from an emblem believed to have been used by Charlemagne, the first Frankish ruler crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope in 800 A.D., and was derived from the Eagle Standard of the Roman army. The side panels display architectural highlights of major German cities, including: Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Munich, and Rothenburg. The wrap-around base banner states the motto of Germany "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit" (Unity and Justice and Freedom). The domed pewter lid has intricate relief decorative banding.

Hand-painted and Hand-crafted in Germany by King-Werk.

Perfect unique gift for collectors, beer drinkers, or that 'hard to buy for' friend or loved one.
