1/2 Liter. 11" tall. German Coats of Arms Stein. This hand-painted, rustical relief stein features the imperial German Eagle, in richly colorful design, with German flags, on the center front. The Imperial German Eagle originates from an emblem believed to have been used by Charlemagne, the first Frankish ruler crowned Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope in 800 A.D., and was derived from the Eagle Standard of the Roman army. The side panels display the sixteen State's Coats of Arms. The domed pewter lid is adorned with intricate relief banding.
