It includes scenes from the cities of Koblenz, Boppard, St. Goar, Cologne, Bacharach, Rudesheim, Rheinfels, and Loreley. The domed pewter lid displays intricate relief banding and is topped with a depiction of the famed Lorelei Mermaid sculpture created in 1801 by Clemens Brentano.
