This stein, in colorfully hand-painted, rustical relief style, features many architectural and landscape highlights of Germany.  The sixteen Coats of Arms for the German States are displayed on the center front, surrounding the German National Coat of Arms, and beneath a rendering of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Side panels feature depictions of Lorelei on the Rhine, the Neuschwanstein Castle, and architecture from Nuremberg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Rothenburg, Heidelberg, and Munich. The domed pewter lid has intricate relief banding and is topped with a pewter Knight in Armor, holding shield and jousting lance.
